Gordon Ode helped organize in the early 1970’s the first Brandon Valley Athletic Booster Club, the forerunner of today’s Athletic Booster Club.  He was the chairman of the group for ten years, which was formed to promote and support athletics at Brandon Valley.  During his time with the Booster Club, Gordon invested much of his time and talents to athletes, coaches and administration.

Gordon has continued his legacy of giving his time and talents to Brandon Valley athletics.  He is a mainstay in the front row of numerous contests every season and has been a volunteer on the “chain gang” at Lynx varsity football games since 1970 – to this point, a streak of over 40 years.

Gordon has many great memories of Lynx athletics, but his favorites include those while watching family members and having his daughter, JoAnn Ode-Presler, join him in the Hall of Fame.
